Fred: How was your date recently?

David: Not too bad. It is seemingly too hard for me to find a place for our date.
大衛(wèi)：不算很糟。但似乎對(duì)于我而言，太難找到一個(gè)合適的.約會(huì)地點(diǎn)了。
Fred: I guess so. Going to watch a movie and having dinner at a restaurant are usual.

David: She said she wanted to go Dutch in dating.
大衛(wèi)：她還說(shuō)要采取AA制。
Fred: Yes, now many girls want to be independent, so it is a little popular, especially among white collars.
佛瑞德：是啊，現(xiàn)在的女孩兒們都想要獨(dú)立，所以AA制很是流行，特別是在白領(lǐng)階層之中。
David: But I am still traditional, so I felt weird when she paid for herself.
大衛(wèi)：但我仍然還是很傳統(tǒng)的，總覺(jué)得她自己付自己的賬怪怪的。
Fred: Forget about it!
佛瑞德：別惦記這事了。
David: Are you satisfied with your girlfriend?
大衛(wèi)：你對(duì)你的女友滿意嗎?
Fred: It will be a long story. We have many differences, for example, she usually puts all her clothes into washing machine. That is the sort of thing I can not bear.
佛瑞德：這可說(shuō)起來(lái)話長(zhǎng)了我們之間有太多不同了，比如說(shuō)，她總是把所有的衣物放在洗衣機(jī)里面洗，這可是我鋮不能忍受的。

Janice: How was your first date, David? Are you satisfied with Jane?
賈尼斯：大衛(wèi)，你的第一次約會(huì)進(jìn)展如何?你對(duì)簡(jiǎn)還滿意吧?
David: It was all right. She, tall and attractive, has stable job and source of income.
大衛(wèi)：還算可以吧!她個(gè)子高、模樣好，還有穩(wěn)定的工作和收入來(lái)源。
Janice: Yes, so I think she is suitable for you.
賈尼斯：好，所以我想著她是比較適合你的。
David: But, well… what I want to say is…
大衛(wèi)：但是，哦……我想說(shuō)的是……
Janice: Stop acting like this. Say away!
賈尼斯：別這樣。有話直說(shuō)。
David: Her standard for selecting life partner is little higher. I can not accept that.
大衛(wèi)：她擇偶的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)有點(diǎn)高。我無(wú)法接受。
Janice: What did she say?
賈尼斯：她是怎么說(shuō)的呢?
David: She said she want a man with large house, luxurious car and healthy parents.
大衛(wèi)：她說(shuō)她想找一個(gè)有大房、有豪車(chē)還有健康的家長(zhǎng)的男子。
Janice: Give her up!
賈尼斯：放棄她吧!
