一、春節(jié)的來(lái)歷：
春節(jié)，是農(nóng)歷的歲首，春節(jié)的另一名稱叫過(guò)年，是中國(guó)最盛大、最熱鬧、最重要的一個(gè)古老傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日，也是中國(guó)人所獨(dú)有的節(jié)日。是中華文明最集中的表現(xiàn)。自西漢以來(lái)，春節(jié)的習(xí)俗一直延續(xù)到今天。春節(jié)一般指除夕和正月初一。但在民間，傳統(tǒng)意義上的春節(jié)是指從臘月初八的臘祭或臘月二十三或二十四的祭灶，一直到正月十五，其中以除夕和正月初一為高潮。如何過(guò)慶賀這個(gè)節(jié)日，在千百年的歷史發(fā)展中，形成了一些較為固定的風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣，有許多還相傳至今。在春節(jié)這一傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日期間，我國(guó)的漢族和大多數(shù)少數(shù)民族都有要舉行各種慶祝活動(dòng)，這些活動(dòng)大多以祭祀神佛、祭奠祖先、除舊布新、迎禧接福、祈求豐年為主要內(nèi)容�；顒�(dòng)形式豐富多彩，帶有濃郁的民族特色。 春節(jié)的來(lái)歷有一種傳說(shuō)，中國(guó)古時(shí)候有一種叫“年”的怪獸，頭長(zhǎng)觸角，兇猛異常。“年”長(zhǎng)年深居海底，每到除夕才爬上岸，吞食牲畜傷害人命。因此，每到除夕這天，村村寨寨的人們扶老攜幼逃往深山，以躲避“年”獸的傷害。有一年除夕，從村外來(lái)了個(gè)乞討的老人。鄉(xiāng)親們一片匆忙恐慌景象，只有村東頭一位老婆婆給了老人些食物，并勸他快上山躲避“年”獸，那老人笑道：“婆婆若讓我在家呆一夜，我一

二、春節(jié)的習(xí)俗
1、臘月二十三 祭灶
我國(guó)春節(jié)，一般是從祭灶揭開序幕的。祭灶，是一項(xiàng)在我國(guó)民間影響很大、流傳極廣的習(xí)俗。舊時(shí)，差不多家家灶間都設(shè)有“灶王爺”神位。
2、臘月二十四 掃塵
“臘月二十四，撣塵掃房子” ，據(jù)《呂氏春秋》記載，我國(guó)在堯舜時(shí)代就有春節(jié)掃塵的風(fēng)俗。按民間的說(shuō)法：因“塵”與“陳”諧音，新春掃塵有“除陳布新”的涵義，其用意是要把一切窮運(yùn)、晦氣統(tǒng)統(tǒng)掃出門。這一習(xí)俗寄托著人們破舊立新的愿望和辭舊迎新的祈求。 每逢春節(jié)來(lái)臨，家家戶戶都要打掃環(huán)境，清洗各種器具，拆洗被褥窗簾，灑掃
六閭庭院，撣拂塵垢蛛網(wǎng)，疏浚明渠暗溝。到處洋溢著歡歡喜喜搞衛(wèi)生、干干凈凈迎新春的歡樂(lè)氣氛。
3、臘月二十五 接玉皇
舊俗認(rèn)為灶神上天后，天帝玉皇于農(nóng)歷十二月二十五日親自下界,查察人間善惡，并定來(lái)年禍福，所以家家祭之以祈福，稱為“接玉皇”。這一天起居、言語(yǔ)都要謹(jǐn)慎，爭(zhēng)取好表現(xiàn)，以博取玉皇歡心，降福來(lái)年。
4、臘月二十七、二十八 洗浴
傳統(tǒng)民俗中在這兩天要集中地洗澡、洗衣，除去一年的晦氣，準(zhǔn)備迎接來(lái)年的新春，京城有"二十七洗疚疾，二十八洗邋遢"的諺語(yǔ)。臘月二十六洗浴為“洗福祿”。
5、臘月三十除夕 貼門神、貼春聯(lián)、守歲、爆竹、吃年夜飯、給壓歲錢、祭祖
除夕的意思是“月窮歲盡”，人們都要除舊部新，有舊歲至此而除，來(lái)年另?yè)Q新歲的意思，是農(nóng)歷全年最后的一個(gè)晚上。故此期間的活動(dòng)都圍繞著除舊部新，消災(zāi)祈福為中心。
春聯(lián)、貼福字、貼窗花、貼年畫、貼掛千。這些都具有祈福、裝點(diǎn)居所的民俗功能。反映了人民大眾的風(fēng)俗和信仰，寄托著人們對(duì)未來(lái)的希望。
守歲，我國(guó)民間在除夕有守歲的習(xí)慣，俗名“熬年”。守歲從吃年夜飯開始，這頓年夜飯要慢慢地吃，從掌燈時(shí)分入席，有的人家一直要吃到深夜。守歲的習(xí)俗，既有對(duì)如水逝去的歲月含惜別留戀之情，又有
對(duì)來(lái)臨的新年寄以美好希望之意。
爆竹，中國(guó)民間有“開門爆竹”一說(shuō)。即在新的一年到來(lái)之際，家家戶戶開門的第一件事就是燃放爆竹，以嗶嗶叭叭的爆竹聲除舊迎新。爆竹是中國(guó)特產(chǎn)，其起源很早，至今已有兩千多年的歷史。放爆竹可以創(chuàng)造出喜慶熱鬧的氣氛，是節(jié)日的一種娛樂(lè)活動(dòng)，可以給人們帶來(lái)歡愉和吉利。王安石的《元日》詩(shī)：

是春節(jié)家家戶戶最熱鬧愉快的時(shí)候。大年夜．豐盛的年菜擺滿一桌，圍坐桌旁，共吃團(tuán)圓飯，心頭的充實(shí)感真是難以言喻。
給壓歲錢，壓歲錢是由長(zhǎng)輩發(fā)給晚輩的，有的家里是吃完年夜飯后，人人坐在桌旁不許走，等大家都吃完了，由長(zhǎng)輩發(fā)給晚輩，并勉勵(lì)兒孫在在新的一年里學(xué)習(xí)長(zhǎng)進(jìn)，好好做人。
6、正月初一 拜年

James Gilman, the President of the International Committee for Marco Polo Studies in England. In this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon’s tooth. This is a true story. /chuzhong/chusan/ 65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. He often visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted one to keep as a treasure. In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had to leave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one of the teeth from the dragon’s mouth. He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older.
Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 20xx, he visited Qingdao and returned it to the Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome. When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported on his visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I think to err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correct one’s error. Honesty is a vital quality of human behaviour. So we should try to keep an honest mind in everything we say and do. They are unable to meet their needs, even the basic needs of survival! Everyone, as a member of humanity, shouldn't feel ashamed? Our luxury deprived their lives, our indifference violated our soul, and our barbarity destroyed human civilization!
What's the ideal society? It's a society no one worries about their living, a society no one is refused from education, a society everyone can pursue his/her own happiness! The ideal society is filled with love, joy and kindness. In that society, we can touch the other's hearts, we can share our dreams and most important, we can just be the true men!

Smoking is a greater cause of death and disability than any single disease, says the World Health Organisation.
According to their figures, it is responsible for approximately five million deaths worldwide every year.
Tobacco smoking is a known or probable cause of approximately 25 diseases, and even the WHO says that its impact on world health is not fully assessed.
Heart attack and stroke
UK studies show that smokers in their 30s and 40s are five times more likely to have a heart attack than non-smokers.
Tobacco contributes to the hardening of the arteries, which can then become blocked and starve the heart of bloodflow, causing the attack.
Often, smokers who develop this will require complex and risky heart bypass surgery.
If you smoke for a lifetime, there is a 50% chance that your eventual death will be smoking-related - half of all these deaths will be in middle age.
Smoking also increases the risk of having a stroke.
Lung problems
Another primary health risk associated with smoking are lung cancer, which kills more than 20,000 people in the UK every year.
US studies have shown that men who smoke increase their chances of dying from the disease by more than 22 times.
Women who smoke increase this risk by nearly 12 times.
Lung cancer is a difficult cancer to treat - long term survival rates are poor.
Smoking also increases the risk of oral, uterine, liver, kidney, bladder, stomach, and cervical cancers, and leukaemia.
Another health problem associated with tobacco is emphysema, which, when combined with chronic bronchitis, produces chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
he lung damage which causes emphysema is irreversible, and makes it extremely difficult to breathe.
Harm to children
Smoking in pregnancy greatly increases the risk of miscarriage, is associated with lower birthweight babies, and inhibited child development.
Smoking by parents following the birth is linked to sudden infant death syndrome, or cot death, and higher rates of infant respiratory illness, such as bronchitis, colds, and pneumonia.
Nicotine, an ingredient of tobacco, is listed as an addictive substance by the US authorities.
Although the health risks of smoking are culmulative, giving up can yield health benefits regardless of the age of the patient, or the length of time they have been smoking.
By 20xx, the WHO expects the worldwide death toll to reach 10 million, causing 17.7% of all deaths in developed countries.
There are believed to be 1.1 billion smokers in the world, 800 million of them in developing countries.

For example, when people finish reading newspaper, the paper will become waste. When the glass is broken, it also becomes waste. Nobody wants to use a broken window or drink with a broken glass or wear a pair of broken glasses. Once it is broken, it becomes waste. The rate of using plastics is increasing day by day. People use plastic bags because they are convenient. When they get home, they throw the plastics way, paying no attention to the environment. The more convenience plastics brings to us, the more plastic waste is produced. This is called “white pollution” as most plastics are white. Some of our products we use every day are made of rubber, just like the tyres and the bottom part of our shoes. It’s true that rubber plays an important role in our life. However, it also brings us some trouble when it has been used for a long time and becomes old. The old tyres become waste because it can’t break down by nature. This is really a big problem.

Technology is power, which is not proportionally distributed among creature. Human beings and other species belong to distinctively varied categories since men grasp the strength of technology. The people with great power, driven by their greedy instinct, can easily build their prosperity upon others species' or other human-beings' suffering and torment. With high-technology, people hunt and kill cetaceans in extremely high efficiency for extra food. Developed countries build polluting factories in Third World countries and earn the profits thousand miles away. They invade small countries for hypocritical reasons just to exploit its natural resources. Science and technology have turned this world into a dog-eat-dog wild jungle. What's worse, we barely feel guilty about the conducted evils because what we have to do is to push buttons and machines are our accomplices.
However, it is humanism that stops us from becoming complete animals. Humanism made us realize the significance of living in a harmonious world and turn our spotlight on building eco-friendly industry. In the past years, we stopped killing animals for nutrition we don't need. We passed laws and regulations to protect the least-advantaged people. Because of humanism, we started to consider human beings and nature as a whole and care more than just ourselves. We filled ourselves with reason, love and compassion. Humanism keeps reminding us the consequence of abusing the immense power of technology and the great responsibility we undertake.
As human, we are deeply conscious of our common humanity. There is no way we can walk away without being tortured by our conscience after we did so many damages on nature or other forms of life. Therefore, we modify our behavior to what we think it's humane. In this way, we gradually achieve the ultimate harmony between human and nature.
In fact, humanism has done much more than just making our conscience clear. It actually saves us from destroying our planet. We all know that we can't upset the balance of nature without a price although sometimes people choose to neglect the consequences and give in to the desire of fortune. Silent Spring, a very famous book written by Rachel Carson, revealed the fact that DDT and such chemical products could be very lethal to creatures like birds, and therefore they caused irreversible damage to our eco-system. The manufacturers knew exactly about the side effects but they chose to conceal the fact for their own interests. Without the humanists like Rachel Carson, we will remain ignorant and eventualy face our own doom desperately.
The role of humanism is absolutely indispensable. It gives us a unique opportunity to be wise and act in ways that elevate us above the animal kingdom. It retains our humanness. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go.
The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.
It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.
It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.
Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.
There was once a guy who suffered from cancer, a cancer that can?'t be cured. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once. So he asked his mother and she gave him permission.
He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a beautiful girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.
She looked up and asked, “Can I help you?”
She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there.
He said, “Uh… Yeah… Umm… I would like to buy a CD.”
He picked one out and gave her money for it.
"Would you like me to wrap it for you?” she asked, smiling her cute smile again.
He nodded and she went to the back. She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store.
He went home and from then on, he went to that store every day and bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. He took the CD home and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out and he really wanted to but he couldn't. His mother found out about this and told him to just ask her. So the next day, he took all his courage and went to the store as usual. He bought a CD like he did every day and once again she went to the back of the store and came back with it wrapped. He took it and when she wasn't looking, he left his phone number on the desk and ran out…
One day the phone rang, and the mother picked it up and said, “Hello?”
It was the girl! The mother started to cry and said, “You don?'t know? He passed away yesterday…”
The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy's mother. Later in the day, the mother went into the boy?'s room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she would start by looking at his clothes. So she opened the closet.
She was face to face with piles and piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was surprised to find all these CDs and she picked one up and sat down on the bed and she started to open one. Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fell a piece of paper. The mother picked it up and started to read it. It said: Hi… I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jocelyn.
The mother was deeply moved and opened another CD…
Again there was a piece of paper. It said: Hi… I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jocelyn.
Love is… when you?'ve had a huge fight but then decide to put aside your egos, hold hands and say, “I Love You.”

3. 有較強(qiáng)的教學(xué)能力
從選擇教師這門職業(yè)的第一天起，我最大的心愿就是做一名受學(xué)生歡迎的.好老師，為了這個(gè)心愿，我一直在不懈努力著。要求自己做到牢固掌握本學(xué)科的基本理論知識(shí)。

目前，新一輪的基礎(chǔ)教育改革早已在我市全面推開，作為新課改的實(shí)踐者，要在認(rèn)真學(xué)習(xí)新課程理念的基礎(chǔ)上，結(jié)合自己所教的學(xué)科，積極探索有效的教學(xué)方法。大力改革教學(xué)，積極探索實(shí)施創(chuàng)新教學(xué)模式。把英語(yǔ)知識(shí)與學(xué)生的生活相結(jié)合，為學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)一個(gè)富有生活氣息的真實(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)情境，同時(shí)注重學(xué)生的探究發(fā)現(xiàn)，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)中學(xué)會(huì)合作交流，提高學(xué)習(xí)能力。
