There are places where cities once stood. There are gardens with trees and grass. But now these places are like deserts. Scientists began to study this land to find out what happened. Many of them believe the land died when trees were cut down. By this story，We find that we must do our best to provide our word’s environment.

Cars give pollution to our air，so remember：walk, ride a bike or run，used our legs. It’s more fun!

I know I’m only a primary student，but I can do something too. I will do something to help save water，when I take shows，I will collect the used water with a basin and later flush toilets with it. Paper，plastic，glass，fabric andmetal，etc.，are collected in blue plastic containers.Toxic and hazardous waste.Scrap batteries，expired medicines，paint buckets，mercury thermometers，fluorescenttubes and household chemicals，etc.are collected in red plastic containers.Otherrubbish，collected in gray or yellow plastic containers.

Save water. Water is the source of life. No water, no life. So it s veryimportant for us to do so.Not only should we protect drinking water and stoppolluting it, but also make full use of it.

Save electricity. It is crucial. We can t imagine what the life will belike without it. Everyone should do his best to save electricity. Don t forgetto turn off lights or other electric machines when we finish working.

To protect the environment，governments of many countries have done a lot。Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution，to protect theforest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution。 Therefore，governments are playing the most important role in the environmental protectiontoday。 In my opinion，to protect environment，the government must take even moreconcrete measures。 First，it should let people fully
realize the importance ofenvironmental protection through education。
Second，much more efforts should bemade to put the population planning policy into practice，because more peoplemeans more people means more pollution。 Finally，those who destroy theenvironment intentionally should be severely punished。 We should let them knowthat destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves。
目前環(huán)保還存在著許多問題。最嚴(yán)重的問題就是空氣、水和土壤的嚴(yán)重污染。污染的空氣對人類的健康十分有害。污染的水引起疼病，造成死亡。更有甚者，隨著現(xiàn)代社會的迅速擴建，植被大大的減少。
為了保護環(huán)境，各國政府做了超多的工作。采用了立法措施控制大氣污染，保護森林資源和海洋資源，制止任何環(huán)境污染。因此，在當(dāng)今的`環(huán)保中政府起著最重要的作用。
我的看法是，為了保護環(huán)境，政府應(yīng)當(dāng)采取更具體的措施。首先，應(yīng)當(dāng)通過教育的方法使人們充分謒到環(huán)境保護的重要性。第二，應(yīng)更加努力把計劃生育政策付諸實施，因為人口多就意味著污染嚴(yán)重。最后，要嚴(yán)懲那些故意破壞環(huán)境者。使他們破壞環(huán)境就是毀滅人類自我。
