英文簡歷怎樣寫工作內容?
1) 要用點句(bullet point),避免用大段文字.中國人在寫簡歷時往往會走兩個極端,一是過于簡單,只有哪年哪月在哪工作,蜻蜓點水,具體內容一點都沒有;二是過于復雜,大段描寫,洋洋灑灑說了半頁紙,卻讓人摸不著所以然.
2) 點句的長度以一行為宜,最多不要超過兩行;句數以三到五句為佳,最多不超過八句.一位美國的招聘經理曾對我說,一般只重點看前三句,超過八句之后的百分之百不看.
3) 點句以動詞開始.目前的工作用一般現在時,以前工作用過去時.為了便于大家撰寫簡歷,我們從一些簡歷書籍中精選了148個簡歷常用動詞,供大家參考.這里特別給大家介紹兩個簡歷中熱門詞匯的用法.Market不完全是指sell,要比sell更豐富一些.Market可作動詞,即market后接名詞也是可以的.這種寫法會顯得工作更具有管理性質,檔次也要更高一些.Conduct后面要加名詞,如conducted research on something,這里conduct相當于中文中的"做".
4) 主要職責與主要成就,誰先誰后 有人認為應把主要職責放在前面,因為別人一看就知道你在做什么.其實這種寫法較適合初級工作以及開創(chuàng)性不強的工作.若是較高級或開創(chuàng)性較強的工作則應把主要成就寫在前面,因為別人看的就是您的工作業(yè)績.所以不能一概而論地斷定誰先誰后.
5) 工作成就要數字化,精確化,避免使用many, a lot of, some, several等模糊的詞匯,應盡量使用具體的數字,到底管理了多少人,銷售額是多少等等.
6) 在同一公司的業(yè)績中,不必拘泥于時間順序,而應秉持"重要優(yōu)先"的原則.例如,在成就里可先寫最重要的.成就;在職責里可先寫最高的職位,不要拘泥于倒序或正序的方法.關鍵是要使雇主在短短幾秒鐘之內就發(fā)現您的最高賣點.
7) 接受培訓的內容可放在每個公司的后面.我們認為培訓是公司內部的,與公司業(yè)務有關,不是Education的一部分。
