一、說明信(Cover letter)
一封介紹性的信箋,介紹你自己以及你應征的目的,并有機會在其中概述你的技能和你能為公司做出的貢獻,大多數(shù)公司除了要履歷之外還要求附上一封說明信。(An introductory letter which introduces yourself,states your intent,and gives you an opportunity to summarize your skills and sell what you can offer to a company. Most companies require a cover letter in addition to a resume.)主要包括三部分:開場白(Anfang)、自我介紹(Selbstvorstellung)和結束語(Schluss)。
二、 簡歷 (Resume)
一個正規(guī)的個人鑒定,描繪出專業(yè)目標、工作經歷和教育背景以及與某專業(yè)相關的其他的活動,或參加的專業(yè)組織,等等。這是一種向一個可能成為你老板的人推銷你技能和專業(yè)技巧的手段。(A formal document which identifies a person,outlines professional goals,describes work history and educational background,and identifies other activities,memberships in professional associations,etc.,which are relevant to a career. 1.教育背景(Educational background):
即正規(guī)學校教育/或 培訓 (A history of a person’s formal schooling and/or training.)包括:學歷(educational history )、教育程度(educational background)、知識背景(knowledge background )、所學課程(courses taken)、專業(yè)課程(specialized courses)、進修課程(refresher course)、脫產 培訓 (off-job training)計算機科學(computer science)等,及掌握情況。
2.工作背景(Work background):
即專職及兼職工作經歷。(A history of a person’s professional and/or non-professional employment. )包括:工作經歷(work experience)、職業(yè)經歷(professional history)、具體經歷(specific experience)、兼職(Part—time)、實習(Intern)、實際業(yè)績(Performance)、工作成就(achievements)、個人能力(People)、市場開發(fā)(Marketing develop)、關鍵問題的解決(breakthrough)、成功的要素(Element of Success)、勝任力(Competence)、被認命的職位(appointed position )等。
3.實力/優(yōu)勢(Strengths)
你擅長的工作,你所擁有的積極的個性特點,你想向你未來老板推銷的你的一些技能。實力包括較強的思想交流能力、分析能力、技術能力、管理能力、創(chuàng)造力、團結力和可取的個人品質。(Tasks which you feel you excel at,positive personality traits that you feel that you possess,and skills that you sell to a potential employer. Strengths can include superior communication skills,high analytical ability,technical skills,managerial prowess,creativity,people skills,and desirable personality traits.)例如:

(四)弱點(Weaknesses)
你認為你自身需要改進的地方,無論是工作習慣,還是專業(yè)知識,或是交流能力,等等。任何一個潛在的弱點必須附有能使之轉變?yōu)橐环N潛在能力的積極有效的方法。(Areas that you perceive that you need improvement in,whether it be work habits,business knowledge,communication,etc. Any potential weakness must be spun into a positive answer which converts it into a potential strength.)例如:
我有時對自己要求過于嚴格。(I tend to drive myself too hard.)
我對別人的能力期望過高。(I expect others to perform beyond their capacities.)
我喜歡速戰(zhàn)速決。(I like to see a job done quickly.)
(五)業(yè)余愛好(hobbies):
愛好代表一個人的性格、涵養(yǎng)、為人以及品德,愛好廣泛的人往往比較開朗、合群、思維寬闊。例如:
彈吉他(play the guitar)、閱讀(reading)、話劇(play)、慢跑(jogging)、

(六)離職原因:
最重要的是:應聘者要使招聘單位相信,應聘者在過往單位的離職原因是某些良好的愿望,避免把離職原因說得太詳細、太具體;不能摻雜主觀的負面感受;不能涉及自己負面的人格特征;盡量使解釋的理由為應聘者個人形象添彩。例如:
