外企英語面試技巧
不少同學(xué)將擇業(yè)的目光瞄準(zhǔn)外資企業(yè),而要進(jìn)外企工作,當(dāng)然首要的條件就是外語流利,雖然大學(xué)畢業(yè)生經(jīng)過多年的學(xué)習(xí)已經(jīng)練就了極強(qiáng)的英語讀寫能力,但一到英語面試關(guān),不少操著一口蹩腳英語的同學(xué)就紛紛落馬。如下是中國人才網(wǎng)給大家整理的外企英語面試技巧,希望對大家有所作用。
一、面試各階段的重點(diǎn)
第一輪面試,會從你的個人簡歷出發(fā),詢問一些有關(guān)個人的問題,比如請你用英語作自我介紹,這個階段對應(yīng)聘者的英語口語水平要求不是很高,能熟悉一些日常會話即可。還有些公司也會有一部分英語筆試,比如中英互譯的項(xiàng)目,主要考查應(yīng)聘者基本的語言運(yùn)用能力。
進(jìn)入第二輪面試,從個人情況介紹轉(zhuǎn)向?qū)I(yè)領(lǐng)域。比如應(yīng)聘市場部,則應(yīng)聘者通常會被要求談一談以往最成功的案例,或者自身的業(yè)務(wù)強(qiáng)項(xiàng)等。另外,應(yīng)聘技術(shù)類崗位的人才應(yīng)該熟悉本專業(yè)的英文術(shù)語,能夠用英文與國際專家交流合作,因此建議理工類人才應(yīng)該注意專業(yè)英語的準(zhǔn)備。
而最后一輪面試,將是對英語口語能力的極大挑戰(zhàn)。因?yàn),最后一輪面試一般是和公司總裁級的人物面對面進(jìn)行交流,外企的總裁一般是外國人,當(dāng)然面試也就變成全英語的了。專家提醒,總裁詢問的問題一般會和公司的精神、企業(yè)文化有關(guān),建議應(yīng)聘者可以在了解企業(yè)精神文化的基礎(chǔ)上事先準(zhǔn)備一份英文底稿并熟記,在交談時就能比較流暢。
二、英語面試需要注意的問題
事前準(zhǔn)備必不可少,但真正到了面試關(guān),也許會有許多意想不到的問題出現(xiàn),比如,沒聽懂考官的問題,考官出的問題不知道該如何回答等等。遇到這些情況,應(yīng)聘者該如何處理呢?
平時要注意訓(xùn)練聽力至少要聽得懂考官的問題,如果對考官的提問,你聽得云里霧里,然后來兩三個“pardon”,那留給考官的印象可想而知。說話要流利,思維要連貫,層次要清晰,不要夾雜中文,有時候真不知怎么回答好時,可以用“well”、“however”這樣的過渡詞來給自己停頓和思考的時間。
表述口語化一些有些應(yīng)聘者認(rèn)為多使用一些復(fù)雜的句型、生僻的單詞會讓考官認(rèn)為自己的英語能力很高,其實(shí),這犯了舍本逐末的錯誤,用簡單直白的語言表現(xiàn)最具魅力的自我,才是英文面試的至高境界。不要不屑于用therebe句型,不要不屑于用第一人稱,如果要說某個詞卻一時想不起來,那就換種說法,盡量避免卡殼,保持談話的流暢。
發(fā)音要標(biāo)準(zhǔn)不要太在意語法錯誤。在面談過程中,發(fā)音的正確清晰與否是最為重要的,而有些應(yīng)聘者特別害怕犯語法的錯誤,有時候面試官還不是特別在意,因?yàn)椋蠖鄶?shù)時候一些細(xì)小的語法錯誤并不影響交際的進(jìn)行。
回答語速切莫過快據(jù)一位資深面試官介紹,在面試時經(jīng)常會看到這種情形,應(yīng)聘者在聽完提問之后便一口氣回答,語速狂飆,令在場老外目瞪口呆,因?yàn)樗麄儧]有聽懂應(yīng)聘者這種趕飛機(jī)似的中式英文。其實(shí),英文面試的第一目的是讓國外主管了解你,甚至對你感興趣,最重要的是展示你的綜合素質(zhì),而絕非單單的語言能力,所以應(yīng)聘者應(yīng)該首先力求表達(dá)清晰。

Cindy:Could you tell me something about your training program?
Caroline:In brief, we offer both in-house and off-site training to our AP or U.S.headquarters. We have a few daylong training sessions for topics like businesswriting skills and software training. Our program is essentially a job-rotation program, and we believe it ismore effective than traditional on-the-job training.
