感恩節(jié)的小故事英文
第一個(gè)：
The Grateful Mouse
感恩的老鼠
A lion was sleeping in the field. Suddenly, something fell on the lion's body.
一只獅子睡在野外。突然，什么東西落在獅子的身體。
"who dares to wake me up from my sleep?"
“誰敢把我從睡夢中驚醒?”
The lion jumped up and looked around. However, there was only a small mouse trembling.
獅子一躍而起，四處張望。不過，那里只有一只顫抖的小老鼠。
The lion held the mouse with his paw.
獅子向老鼠舉起他的爪子。
"you little mouse, you dare to wake me. I'll swallow you up."
“你這只小老鼠，你敢來吵醒我，我要吃掉你的。”
The mouse trembled and said,"Mr.lion, please forgive me . I slipped......"
老鼠顫抖著說，“獅子先生，請(qǐng)?jiān)徫�。我滑�?.....”
"quiet!"
“安靜!”
"If you spare me ,l'll repay you. The lion was surprised.
“如果你饒了我，我會(huì)報(bào)答你的。獅子感到驚訝。
"ha, ha,ha,how will a little mouse like you repay me?"
“哈，哈，哈，像你這樣的小老鼠將如何報(bào)答我?”
"I meant it, I'll repay you."
“我的意思是，我會(huì)報(bào)答你的。”
"ha, ha, ha, what a funny fellow. Fine, I'll forgive you.But,don't talk about repaying me,or l'll eat you up."
“哈，哈，哈，真是有趣的`家伙。好吧，我會(huì)原諒你的。但是，不要再說報(bào)答我的話了，要不然我會(huì)吃掉你的。”
The lion was so amazed at what the mouse said,he let the mouse go.
獅子覺得小老鼠的話是如此驚奇，他讓小老鼠離開了。
One day, a large cry was heard in the woods. The lion was caught in a hunter's net.
有一天，一聲大孔從森林里傳來。獅子被獵人的網(wǎng)網(wǎng)住了。
"oh, I'm going to die now. I can't believe I'm going to die like this. "
“哦，我馬上就要死了，我不能相信我會(huì)這樣死了。”
The mouse appeared in front of the lion. The mouse began gnawing at the net.
老鼠出現(xiàn)在獅子面前。老鼠開始啃著那張網(wǎng)。
The net broke and the lion was free.
網(wǎng)終于破了了，獅子自由了。
"Are you alright,Mr.lion?"
“你沒事吧，獅子先生?”
"Hey,you are that mouse."
“嘿，你是那只老鼠。”
"I told you, I would definitely repay you. You should not look down on me because I am small.
“我告訴你，我一定會(huì)報(bào)答你的。你不應(yīng)該因?yàn)槲倚【涂床黄鹞摇?/p>
The lion shamefully hung his head.
獅子慚愧的低下了頭。
第二個(gè)：
Thanksgiving 感恩節(jié)
Mr. Hunter calls his son in Boston. The old man says,“Son, I hate to bring you the bad news…… but your mother and I, we are getting a divorce.”The son is surprised, “What?? You can’t!”
亨特先生給在波士頓的兒子打電話。老人說：“兒子，我不想帶給你壞消息……但是我和你媽要離婚了。”兒子非常吃驚，“什么??你們不能!”
Mr. Hunter says, “I’m sorry, son! Forty-five years of misery is enough! Now, I am sick of talking about it, call your sister and tell her!” And he hangs up.
亨特先生說，“對(duì)不起，兒子!45年的痛苦已經(jīng)夠了!我討厭說這些了，給你姐打電話告訴她!”就掛了電話。
The son, nearly in tears, calls his sister in New York, “Sis,” he says, “You’re not going to believe this! Mom and dad are getting a…… a…… divorce!”
兒子幾乎是哭著給在紐約的姐姐打電話，“姐，”他說：“你不會(huì)相信的!媽和爸要…要…離婚!”
“What?!” she shouts on the phone. “Oh, no. They aren’t!You stay put. I’ll call you right back!” And she hangs up.
“什么?!”她在電話里喊起來。“噢，不。他們不能!你不要走開。我馬上給你打過去!”她掛了電話。
The sister calls the parents in Los Angels, “You two are not getting a divorce!”
姐姐給洛杉磯的父母打電話：“你們倆不能離婚!“
Mr. Hunter says, “Honey, listen……”
亨特先生說：“親愛的，聽著……”
The daughter says, “No, you listen! You are not getting a divorce! You know what? You don’t do anything! I’m calling brother back. We’ll be there tomorrow! Don’t do anything.”
And she hangs up.
女兒說：“不，你聽著!你們不準(zhǔn)離婚!你知道嗎?什么都不要做!我給弟弟打電話，我們明天就回去!任何事都不要做。”然后掛了電話。
Mr. Hunter hangs up calmly, looks at Mrs. Hunter, and says, “Well, they are coming for Thanksgiving and are paying their own fares. What shall we tell them on Christmas?”
亨特先生平靜地放下聽筒，看著亨特太太說：“好了，感恩節(jié)他們都要自己買機(jī)票回來了。圣誕節(jié)我們給他們說什么?”
